  • This release includes the latest version of Xircom's Firmware (version 2.90) and the latest version of Xircom's firmware update utility which is used to update your Xircom modem with this version of firmware.
  • This release supports the following Xircom products: - CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56 (CBEM56-100BTX), - RealPort CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56 (RBEM56-100BTX), - RealPort CardBus Modem 56 - GlobalACCESS (RBM56G), - RealPort2 CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56 (R2BEM56G-100)
  • Support for the most recent Xircom GSM phone kits has been added.
  • A condition that resulted in the modem failing to respond a short time after initial use in some environments has been corrected.
  • Some country specific changes and corrections have been implemented for various Asia Pacific countries.
  • A DTE rate of 230400 is now supported.
