  • The Intel OSB logo was changed.
  • Addressed a Phoenix SMM security issue.
  • Corrected an ATI M56P rev. B26 PowerPlay hang when the battery capacity is around 25%
  • Added nVidia G73 NVS VBIOS support.
  • Added Tj85 CPU support.
  • Addressed a W2K start up issue on units with ATI graphics.
  • Updated the nVidia G73M NVS VGA BIOS to improve jerky play back with some DVD titles in battery mode.
  • Addressed an issue where the HDD description string disappears from the BIOS setup menu if the 'Esc' key is pressed continuously then F1 is pressed to enter Setup.
  • Corrected an extended POST time issue that occurred after an RTC CMOS loss.
  • Corrected an issue where the LCD will not come back on after a power management screen time out, following a "lid action" standby/resume.

  • Added micro code for the Yonah D0 stepping CPU.
  • Changed the default language from US to JP on the Japanese model.
  • Corrected a W2K Touchpad "inoperative" issue after an 'Eject PC'.
  • Corrected: After hot-docking to a port replicator with a PS2 mouse, then pressing Fn+F9, the system doesn't display the touchpad On/Off icon.
  • Made a change so other manufacturer's CIR Remote controllers can be used.
